  • Wide aperture reflection refraction seismic profiling for mapping sediments, crust and upper mantle
The Wide Aperture Reflection Refraction Profiling (WARRP) method involves the deployment of a large number of stand-alone seismic stations (up to 1000) distributed along a seismic line or a grid. The seismic data are compiled in Common Station Gathers (CSGs). The use of different reduction velocities and data displays helps to identify features that otherwise might remain undetected. No further processing needs to be applied.
  • On/Offshore seismic arrays for microseismicity monitoring and delineations of active faults
Monitoring seismicity with local on/offshore seismic networks is an important tool for seismic hazard estimation and preparation of microzonation maps for geological and engineering studies. The distribution of hypocenters allows the precise identification of active faults, and helps understanding active tectonic processes. We use local seismic velocity models for the definition of earthquake parameters.
  • Combination of Active and Passive Seismics for Geological & Engineering Applications
Delineation of active faults and definition of geohazards for geological and engineering applications combining: Single channel high resolution seismic data Velocity models for mapping of sediments and crust Microseismicity observations from on/offshore local seismic arrays Local Magnetic field for definition of lithological variations.
  • 3D Potential Field Modeling
Geosyn has developed a gravity and magnetic modeling tool that can handle models of any complexity. It is based on a full 3D grid approach with the model space being discriminated by rectangular prisms of constant size. Geological or geophysical information can easily be incorporated into the model. Geosyn offers acquisition and interpretation of marine, land and airborne gravity and magnetic data.
