About

GeoSyn Geophysics is an internationally operating geophysical company in research and exploration. Established in 1988 in Cyprus, it has accomplished a series of projects in developing instruments and geophysical mapping techniques. The GeoSyn Ocean Bottom Station is a seismic unit that records earthquakes for passive seismic observations and active shots for marine exploration projects. No special vessels are required for deploying or recovering the Geosyn OBS. Data reading and recharging batteries are performed without having to open the station.

Although seismic is its main involvement, it has also developed expertise in potential field methods. Modeling and geophysical interpretation have addressed problems in complex environments, particularly in sub-salt, sub-basalt and sub-thrust areas, on and offshore, and in crustal studies.
